Jacksonville Jewish Federation
jewishjacksonville.org
The Jacksonville Jewish Federation shares a unique relationship with our Jewish community's Foundation.
The Federation is responsible for proposing the idea of having such an important agency as a member of our family
of Jewish organizations. The Federation continues to support and have a close working relationship with the Foundation.
As Federation is responsible for conducting an annual campaign in support of the
Foundation's Partner Agencies, the Foundation itself, as well as the United Jewish Communities (formerly UJA),
the Solomon Schechter Day School, Joan Levin Gift of Israel Program and many other Jewish organizations, the missions
of our two agencies are always going to be in harmony. Our annual campaign attempts to assist our recipient agencies
with their current operating and programmatic requirements. Foundation is dedicated to insuring the future viability
of the Partner Agencies and the future well being of our Jewish community. Federation and Foundation form a team
to work together on present and future needs of the Jewish people in Jacksonville in the attempt to guarantee a
quality of life for everyone living in the Jewish community.
The accomplishments of the Foundation are significant. The success to date gives
us every reason to believe the future will see great growth for this very important agency.
Our Jewish community has changed during the past decade. The creation of a Jewish
Foundation to work in partnership with five area synagogues and Federation and the major local recipient agencies
of Federation is one of the most positive things we can point to as evidence of this growth and change.
