The PDF file format compresses files and allows them to be viewed and printed easily. In order to view and print
PDF files, you must use an external "helper" application. Once you have a "helper" application,
you can view and print PDF files.
The Jacksonville Jewish Foundation has included a link to a web site that allows you to download the external "helper"
application Adobe
Acrobat Reader. Please follow the installation instructions given
by the Adobe web page.
Please Note: If you have installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader and are using Netscape Navigator, you might encounter
an Unknown File Type error when trying to access a PDF file. If this happens, choose the Pick Application button
and browse your hard drive for the Adobe Acrobat Reader executable. You will be able to view PDF files after you
find and open the executable. |
