 "Kimberly and I are delighted to participate in the Jacksonville Jewish Foundation.
We support and encourage the Foundation in the furtherance of its mission and goals. This Foundation is providing
a means for the Jacksonville Jewish community to amass continuing, long-term, permanent financial resources. Funds
established through the Foundation will always be there to ensure the future of our synagogues and local and overseas
agencies.
Over the next decade or so, there will be an enormous inter-generational transfer
of wealth. Kimberly and I believe that our community leadership demonstrated enormous foresight in creating the
Jacksonville Jewish Foundation. They realized that there was a need in our community for a foundation to serve
as our Jewish community's central agency to help meet the long-term philanthropic needs of donors. By creating
the Foundation to serve as the repository for some of this wealth, we have provided a mechanism that will allow
our generous donors to realize their philanthropic goals and objectives.
Our community will some day look back and recognize the significance of the creation
of the Jacksonville Jewish Foundation. Generations to come will realize that this planned giving and endowment
development partnership venture is one of the most important steps we took in an effort to help preserve our rich
Jewish heritage and traditions thus ensuring Jewish continuity."
